About Oluwadara Kehinde (Akan)

Homegrown. Experienced. Committed to people-centred representation for Yewa North and Imeko-Afon.

Oluwadara Kehinde (Akan)

Oluwadara Kehinde (Akan) is the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for the Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections. Many constituents still know him as Akan — his former name — and he remains rooted in Owode Ketu and Ayetoro.

He is a Chartered Accountant (ICAN), a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), and a professional with experience in cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance. He brings about a decade of Ogun State civil service experience under the Office of the Accountant General, plus international exposure from work in Washington, DC.

His people-centred development agenda focuses on youth empowerment, agriculture, entrepreneurship, education and economic opportunity. Representation must go beyond occupying a seat at the National Assembly — the mandate must attract opportunities, influence policy, and champion issues that affect constituents every day.

“The people must not only hear from their representative during elections; they must feel represented throughout the tenure.”

At the National Assembly, he will use legislative advocacy, oversight and continuous constituency engagement to push infrastructure, economic development, youth opportunity and rural welfare.

📚

Education & Skills

Prioritise vocational training, digital education, IT skills and practical learning pathways for the modern economy.

🏛️

Accountable Representation
